Before and After

Picture yourself walking the grounds of a grand country home in the late 1700s, accompanied by the great English landscape designer Humphry Repton.

Humphry Repton’s approach to design was not without one of his renowned Red Books, within which were a series of before and after perspective watercolours. Unlike his predecessor Capability Brown, Repton’s new approach to visualising ideas through animated vignettes enticed the imagination of his clients.

At TaylorHare we work in many mediums to communicate our ideas, not just to illustrate a conclusion in the design process but to encourage discussion along the way.

Our team have a broad visual skill set: hand sketches; physical model making; technical drawing and photorealistic visualisation. A firm favourite of ours remains the before and after vignette*.
