As a phenomenological designer, I believe architecture should create awe that is both tactile and experiential, performative and poetic, physical and metaphysical. Narrative, sequence, and memory must be just as integral to the creation of space as the building materials themselves.

After graduating Cum Laude from USC School of Architecture, I began my career at facades consultancy firm Enclos in Los Angeles, gaining in-depth knowledge of curtainwall systems and complex enclosures. Over the course of the following 10 years, I worked at Zaha Hadid Architects in London, Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill in Chicago, and Morphosis and NBBJ in Los Angeles, designing and delivering projects of massively varying scales. Learning from the great architects of our time has been a privilege and has become instrumental to the way I think about design.

Though I have always strongly believed in designers’ power to influence people’s behavior in their surroundings, more so than ever I believe we must constantly challenge the status quo in our built environment and use this power not for our own fulfillment, but to create places generations will remember, dream about, and strive to preserve.

When not working, you can find me in a gallery, bookstore, airplane, or the sea.
